Janine is the founder of Boost and Retail Zoo and has remained on the Board since 2000. She is one of Australia’s most respected business women having earned many accolades including Telstra Businesswoman of the Year, Amex Franchisor of the Year, ARA Retailer of the Year and was inducted into the Australian Business Women Hall of Fame as well as being listed by BRW as one of top 15 people who have changed the way we do business in the last 20 years.
Janine currently sits on the Board of Michael Hill as a Director.
Nishad has global experience across strategy and operations including over 24 years’ of experience in the Casual Food and Beverage industry.
His previous roles include Chief Marketing Officer / Chief Supply Chain Officer of Skylark Holdings Ltd where he was responsible for a network of over 3,000 multi-cuisine restaurants in Japan and Taiwan.
Nishad also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Starbucks Asia Pacific and led retail operations and supply chain, including the roll out of over 2,500 stores.
Nishad was also a Principal of Retail Operations at A.T.Kearney where he focused on Fortune 500 clients across consumer goods, retail and food and beverage industries.
David has extensive experience across a number of businesses and industries and is the Managing Director and Asia-Co Head at Bain Capital where he has been since 2000. He was a founding member of Bain Capital’s Asia business.
David is a graduate of Harvard Business School where he attained his MBA and also holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from The Wharton School.
Michael has extensive experience across a number of businesses and industries and is a Principal at Bain Capital.
He sits on the Boards of Only About Children and Camp Australia.
Prior to this, Michael was a management consultant with Bain & Company where he advised clients in a broad range of industries.
Michael is a graduate of Harvard Business School where he attained his MBA and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University.
Ceri has been General Counsel and Company Secretary of Retail Zoo since 2016.
He has over 12 years’ industry experience and prior to Retail Zoo, Ceri provided inhouse legal advice to large and well-known organisations in both Australia and the United Kingdom including Spotless Group in Australia and the Big Lottery Fund in the United Kingdom.
She has over 20 years’ industry experience with proven experience across traditional and digital channels.
Prior to Retail Zoo, Joanne was the Chief Marketing Officer of Porter Davis and on the management team at Fernwood Women’s Health Clubs.
Merissa has been Chief Commercial Officer of Retail Zoo since 2016.
She has over 26 years’ industry experience with prior experience including roles with Westfield, Subway and Spotless Group as well as having run her own retail food businesses across multiple sites.
Paul has been Chief Financial Officer of Retail Zoo since 2016. He has over 20 years’ experience in senior finance positions including as the Head of Finance at Coles where he was financially responsible for c.$5 billion in cost with coverage of supply chain, store operations, loyalty, online and information technology.
Other previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at StarTrack and Head of Supply Chain Finance at Woolworths, which included a c.$1 billion infrastructure investment.
Paul was also previously a Non-Executive Director for 9 years on the Board of Eftel which became a part of Dodo.
Lisa has been the Head of Human Resources at Retail Zoo since 2015. She has over 20 years’ industry experience in retail and QSR in both HR and Operational roles. Prior to joining Retail Zoo, Lisa worked for large franchise companies including Yum! Brands and 7-Eleven and Delaware North Companies. Lisa is responsible for all HR activities across our four brands.
Yvette is the Retail Zoo’s Head of IT with 20 years’ experience in the IT industry specialising in retail organisations. She joined Retail Zoo in 2012 after many years with The Body Shop.
Yvette has been integral in delivering IT solutions including a unified Retail POS and Loyalty platform integrated into the business back-end systems providing Retail Zoo’s stakeholders with a consistent IT framework across all brands.
